Swiss Tax and Off Shore Assets

Tax time is coming up and I was wondering if anyone has had experiences with having assets off shore. I.E property in another country.
How does the swiss government handle this?

I have a house (still owe money on it) in Aus, I have been told I need to claim this and I may be taxed on it.
Does anyone know anything about this or know of someone that does?
