A belt around the track costs 25CHF and I think is well worth it. If we go in a group there are group programs with a meal and apero included. I saw a bucks party group here doing the group thing. The carts have transponders in them and your lap times are recorded. As the races are occurring you can view live placings on monitors in the hall and on the side of the track. At the end of the races you get print outs of all the times of all the drivers. This is all in doors so weather is not an issue. May be winter is a good time to do this. Are you in? Joined: Sun Jan 22 2006, 06:36AM Posts: 50 | I have just added go cart racing as an event for the 20th October. Be there or be square. Lets try to get the numbers up so we can get a group program happening. For that we will need at leas 10 people. I would like to start this at about 2-3PM we will be finish by 6 easily. Prices are 25CHF/race or we can do a group program as part of a group. The group program option comes with an apero optional dinner and prices. I will see if we can just do the racing part without the food and apero. If we do that then we will race no one else but our group. In the group program you get 3 races for 60CHF, a warm up, a qualify and the race. All starts but the warm up are from a starting grid. There are transponders in the carts and every lap is recorded and printed out after the race for review. There are also monitors around the track displaying live stats as you race - just like the real thing. I saw what looked like work members there doing a company event. They consisted of mainly older men and women. There was also a bucks party doing the group program - the group program look like more fun. When you go in to just have a belt around the track (25CHF/race) you race against who ever wants a go and there is no starting grid starts its just enter the track one at a time and ago for it. There can be up to 30 carts in these races. This is fun but disorderly, this is what I did last time. Oh no the rugbys on!!! This is on the same day as the Rugby Union World Cup Final but that will be in the evening at 2100 so there is no overlap. Maybe we can get a BBQ in prior to the match?
